We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our dynamic team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers’ compensation law, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for advocating for the rights of injured workers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in workers’ compensation claims, hearings, and appeals.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and options.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Maintain a caseload and manage cases from inception to resolution.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure effective case management.
• Stay current on changes in workers’ compensation laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar.
• 2+ years of experience in workers’ compensation law (preferred).
• Strong understanding of workers’ compensation regulations and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate and advocate effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
