We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Director to join our team in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, and strategy development. This leadership role requires a strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations, as well as the ability to mentor and manage a team of tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage tax planning and compliance for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that align with clients’ business objectives and minimize tax liabilities.
• Oversee tax compliance processes and ensure timely and accurate filing of federal and state tax returns.
• Provide expert guidance on complex tax issues and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Mentor and develop junior tax staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate relevant updates to clients and staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated tax solutions.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree in Taxation or an MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a strong focus on corporate tax.
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
