JOB DETAILS:

Role : Workers’ Compensation/Liability Attorney
Location : Richmond, VA

Emp Type : Full-time/Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Workers’ Compensation Cases: Handle legal cases involving employee injuries on the job, including pretrial motions, depositions, expert witnesses, and trial preparation.
• General Civil Litigation: Manage cases related to property, casualty, and coverage matters (disputes around insurance, property damage, and liabilities).
• Research & Writing: Strong research skills to gather legal information and writing skills to draft documents like motions, depositions, and trial papers.

Key Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience handling Workers’ Compensation and general civil litigation.
• Virginia Bar license is required. Additional Bar licenses or experience as a judicial clerk or prosecutor are a plus.
• Insurance defense or experience with Property/Casualty coverage matters is highly beneficial.

Firm Information:
