Job Title: Experienced Liability Litigation Attorney

Location: Portland, Maine

We are seeking an experienced Liability Litigation Attorney to join our growing team in Portland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in liability law, exceptional litigation skills, and a passion for advocating for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of liability litigation matters from inception through trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Represent clients in court and during depositions and mediations.
• Develop case strategies and collaborate with clients and colleagues to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Stay current on legal developments and trends in liability law.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Maine State Bar and good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in liability litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Proven track record of successful case management and trial experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
