Job Title: Associate Attorney – Workers’ Compensation

Location: Richmond, Virginia

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with a focus on Workers’ Compensation to join our Richmond office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workers’ Compensation laws and a passion for advocating on behalf of injured workers. You will be responsible for managing a caseload, providing legal counsel, and representing clients in various legal proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of Workers’ Compensation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Advise clients on their rights and options related to Workers’ Compensation claims.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in Workers’ Compensation laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Virginia State Bar.
• 1-3 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation or related fields preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
