Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Anesthesiology Pain Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients with chronic pain conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and performing interventional procedures to alleviate pain and improve quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized pain management treatment plans, including medication management and interventional procedures.
- Perform interventional pain management techniques, such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and radiofrequency ablation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care.
- Educate patients and their families about pain management options and promote self-management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in pain management and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an anesthesiology residency program.
- Fellowship training in Pain Management is highly preferred.
- Board certification in anesthesiology and pain management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
